Please note that according to Google Answers guidelines we cannot give
out personal information including home address and email of
individuals. For your question we could find the list of torch
bearers, but not their contact information.

were you able to find all 11,500 names for the 2002 games in salt lake city?
is there any other information associated with the name, i.e. city they ran in,
or date of the relay?
i'm trying to contact a few of these folks, and just a list of names won't be
much help.
thanks for clarifying your answer,
dave

Hi dave9dm,
I've been able to find lists of torchbearers that were published by
local and state newsletters - but am so far unsuccessful in finding
the total list (it would be, understandably, quite long). Do you have
a particular state in which you're interested? For example, I've
found the runners for California and Alaska, with the approximate
dates and cities in which they ran.

i know the dates they were in each city in the u.s.
i've found quite a few names and addresses through newspapers as
you have. i really wanted all the names and addresses in one list.
just calif and alaska won't really help.
how does this work. if you can't get all that i ask for, i don't
get charged?

Hi dave9dm,
I've sent an email to the US Olympic Committee asking if I can get a
list of the people who ran/walked/whatever with the Torch. If they
respond I'll let you know. As I noted before, I'm not able to give
you addresses for the folks who ran, but that information might be in
whatever list the USOC can provide. It's likely that they will have a
list that is not online - and so you'll have to email them to get it.
I'm trying to find out if the list is available and from whom you
should request it.
If I or any other researcher am unable to answer your question you
will not be charged your bid price for the question. You will be
charged the $.50 listing fee. If/when I get info back from the USOC
I'll check with you to see if it is acceptable before posting it as an
answer, as well.

i've already tried the usoc and the international olympic committees.
i've tried coca cola and chevrolet, both sponsored the event.
supposedly there was a list posted on the www.saltlake2002.com site
a year ago as the olympics were held. but i have no idea how complete
it was. is there a way to access old site material that may be archived
on their server?
