Hello,

I am currently looking for some script developing in PHP / Perl and
found the website Scriptlance.com.  This site seems to be pretty big,
but does anyone have any experience or can give any more information
about the site?  Specifically I am looking for.
1.  If you needed programming done, would you possibly use it?
2.  Do you trust it, specifically its escrow service?
3.  Do you know of any respectable services with the same concept
besides scriptlance.com and elance.com?
Can you provide any more information about this site.  I have been
quoted around $250 for a project, and would rather not fall victim to
a scam.

searched the net on various forums, and usenet for reviews of
scriptlance.

My first observation is that scriptlance.com has a Google PageRank of
6, which means that its quite popular and that many pages link to it.

On the net, I have found a number of positive comments :

India's #1 computer magazine, Digit (formerly Chip) has mentioned this
site in one of their articles

Thanks for the tip and your kind words. The researchers on this
service do everything possible to make sure the customer is happy,
irrespective of how much the question is valued at.

Im in shock.  You took the time to do research and post here for
$2.50, GoogleAnswers just might be the best value on the internet. 
Your answer was worth much more than $2.50!  Great answer, thank you

I haven't tasted a experience at scriptlance.com, but I would
certainly recommend rentacoder.com
