Hello,

If you decided to burn the mp3s as an audio cd and then copy them
over, you would only be able to take 74 mins of your music at a time.
The easiest way would be to burn a normal "data" cd. You can fit 650mb
of data on a 74min disc (or 700mb if you're using the larger sized
80min ones) and that equates to about 12 hours of music per disc.
Depending on how many mp3s you have, you could probably take your
entire collection on a couple cds. Step-by-step it's really quite
simple:

1) on the source computer select the mp3s you wish to burn to a data
cd
2) burn them to cd (650mb or 700mb maximum)
3) take the cd and put it in the destination computer
4) open the cd and copy them them from the cd to the harddrive or just
play the mp3s from cd

Thank you for your answer! To clarify is a CD-R downloaded with MP3
songs off a harddrive the same as a "Data CD" or are they two
different animals? It would appear that on my software (Music Match)
one can record conventional WAV CD's, MP3's and Data CD's.

Just do plain data cds. The mp3 function of yoru program is probably
used to tkae an audio cd and make mp3s out of it.
