My search strategy was to pick the names of Massachusetts magazines
and newspapers from the listings provided by Google Directory and by
searching the Internet for "Massachusetts" and newspapers; and later
searching inside the magazine (and also with its name and the words
"food editor" OR "food reporter") for the food editor.

I hope that was the answer you were looking for. Please let me know if
you need any clarifications on this answer. I'd be pleased to clarify
the answer before you rate it.

I can't locate any listing of food editors in MA for you...

Here are some leads...

This site lists the newspapers of MA with web site and some contact
information.

Another MA newspapers list

and food (cuisine) magazines

Gebbie is a great site for media listings - this leads to magazines,
but they have all kinds of print media.
