We have two St. Bernards (150lbs each) and a small yard (25' x 40'). Grass does not work well. What is the best type of lawn/vegitatation to grow - stones are not an option. | |

You may want to see the site at http://www.libraries.psu.edu/agnic/lawncare.htm. It has links to a 2 documents containing advice for mitigating the damage dogs can do to lawns. However, I did not see a recommendation for a particular type of lawn or turf that would answer your question. It also links to state extension offices - the Ag Extension office in PA should have someone available who could provide additional advice for you (if you don't get a satisfactory answer from this service) |
