I must have tickled it in a sensitive spot because it immediately reared up and positioned itself on the right-side of my desktop. I've thrown a bucket of cold water over it but it still refuses to lie down. I'm using Win98 with IE6 as my desktop. What to do? |

Greetings probonopublico! You should be able to move the cursor to a spot on the taskbar (preferably a blank section), click and hold on the left mouse button, and then drag it back down to the bottom section of the screen. When you let go it should appear in its old spot. You can also use this method to move the taskbar to the top or to the left-side. I hope this information is helpful. If you would like for me to clarify any part of my answer or further research your question, please let me know before issuing a rating. Thanks! leep-ga | |

Got it! I expanded the bar as wide as it would go and then found that I could push it around. Maybe I had inadvertently squashed to bar thus impairing its mobilty. Thanks a lot |
