Hi hahna,

Good day and thanks for your question. Once a question has expired,
the same question cannot be extended directly by you.

You have two options :
1. The easy option is to repost the question
2. Contact Google Answers at answers-editors@google.com with your
question ID. I am not sure if they can extend the question. They may
suggest the first option

If you have any clarifications, then please don't hesitate to ask

Thank you for using this service and have a nice day.

Warm regards,
aditya2k

what do you mean by 'repost'? do you mean ask the question again? or
is there a "repost" option that i am missing?

also, how have others extended their expiry dates by several months,
sometimes by a year? do you mean (by your answer) that they have
contacted the editors?

thanks

Hi again,

By repost, I mean asking the question again.

Initially, this service gave question askers the option of expiring
their questions in either 1 week, 1 month or 1 year. However, right
now, the question asked is valid for one month by default.

Most of the people in your situation earlier reposted their
questions

If you have any further clarifications, please do ask.

Regards,

Hahna --- Like you, I've posted several questions. In general, when
my questions have gone unanswered, it's because I priced them "below
the market." Conversely, when I've "paid up," the questions get
answered almost immediately.
For example, back in August I tried to find a speicific poem for
$3.00. It went unanswered for a full month. When I reposted at
$10.00, it was answered within an hour. Just my two cents worth...Ron
