Hello, I have an old postgresql installation that was originally used
under linux. That system has since been blown away, but I still have
the data directory. I would like to extract the database information
from those data files so that I can import it into my new postgresql
installation on a freebsd system. I've tried just copying the data
directory into the new installation, but I get the error message:
pg_aclcheck: invalid user id 26. What I'm looking for is a tool or a
process that isn't too time consuming, which I can use to do this
conversion or to fix the data so that postgresql will recognize it. I
don't want to have to reinstall linux. Is there anything out there?
