Hello -
I've found hundreds of Jewish organizations, funds, and family
foundations on the Internet that contribute money to Israel (thanks to
Google of course). There are also many sites for donor-advised
contributions for tax purposes that are not interested in hearing
about the funding needs of individual organizations.

I'm specifically interested in reaching a comprehensive list of Jewish
funds such as the Burnstein Family Fund or the Rita & Stanley Kaplan
Fund with either LINKS TO WEB SITES OR CONTACT INFORMATION, or info on
how to reach people who represent these types of funds. So far I've
only managed to reach the top organizations and very long static lists
of these types of donors without links or contact info.

Thank you very much - this is for a very worthy cause.

Dear Susan,

There is an excellent website that contains a database with
very detailed information about non-profit (charitable)
organizations, called GuideStar
http://www.guidestar.org/

I ran a search for 'Jew' and got 38 organizations.

But doing a search for 'Israel' resulted in over
1200 responses.

Guidestar includes copies of their financial reports,
their IRS Form 990 reports, etc. So, by reading those
reports, you'll get the names of the principals in
charge of each charity.

Part V on page 4 of the Form 990 lists the trustees.

Also, some of the organizations also provide a link
to 'leaders,' the primary contacts you want.

I hope this helps you find the money you need.

With Mazel,

Your TaxMama-ga
