simple question- I Recieved a summons for urinating in public about a month and a half agO. The summons stated that i would have to appear in court on nov. 13 which is tomorrow. Now while i remember the court date i have lost the actual summons. My question is-what do i do now without the summons? Should i appear in court without it? Is there a hotline i can call to get the information regarding this summons like which court i should go to and at what time. I recieved the summons in astori, ny. If this helps, the issuing officer never asked me to sign the summons. Thanx for any info |

Jerry, I went to the New York State Unified Court System web site at: http://portal.courts.state.ny.us/pls/portal30/cms_dev.attorney_court_schedules.show and found this number: 1-800-COURTNY Which then gave me the number for Astoria's city clerk. They should be able to provide you information about your case (time, place, and whether or not you need your summons): 718-520-3855 gitana |
