Question ID: 106413
I am trying to find out the name of a compilation album which had the
doors "peace frog" as well as songs from the stranglers and other late
70's early 80's.  I tried copyright search on the doors song;
stranglers & doors compilation but nothing is working.
Does anyone know the name of this album and where I can find it?

What about the compilation "Life in the European Theater"? I haven't
yet found a list of tracks, but here are a list of the bands: The
Clash, The Jam, The Beat, The Specials, XTC, Peter Gabriel, The Doors,
Mandess, Bad Manners, The Stranglers, The Undertones, Echo & The
Bunnymen, and The Au Pairs.

Does this sound like the album you're looking for? If so, and if you
would be happy with a vinyl album, I can post an answer.

This is the album but I am looking for it on cd. Do you know if it
was ever digitally reproduced on cd. I know the stranglers THE RAVEN
was.
Thanks

It does not appear that this album was ever re-released on CD. I have
checked online at Google, CDNow, Tower, and the record companies that
released the album originally, Elektra and WEA.

Would you like me to look for it on vinyl, on a legal download from
the Internet, or just stop looking?

Here, by the way, is the list of the songs and a review:

Thanks for all the information! I've seen the album on ebay and maybe
I will get it someday when I get a turntable. Just stop looking.
