I figured you know how to use the general job boards like hotjobs.com
or techies.com to look for jobs in your specialty. I did a quick
search and found very few postings. I don’t think you’re likely to
have much luck with this approach. Instead, I searched to see if there
are job boards that specialize in your set of skills. I’ve made a list
of the ones I found. Even with these, the postings are rather meager,
but at least they’re specialized in your areas of expertise.

I’ve also included a set of links for Los Angeles area resources. I
think these might help you conduct a more focused search than using
the national job boards.

I think your best bet will be for you to use your connections from
past jobs and from your knowledge of the industry to help you identify
companies that you know still use people with your skillset. Then
don’t wait for a job posting but rather find a way to make a personal
connection. When the job market is tight it’s the best (sometimes
only) way.
