I'm looking for bags for a 13 year old Kenmore canister vacuum; the
owner's manual (yes, I still have it...) tells me to use only dustbag
# 20-5042.  I have been unable to find it on Sears' abysmally badly
designed website.  It's possible Sears has changed product numbers,
butif they did, they didn't bother to mention it anywhere.

I've already bought a package of "K" bags, as they looked like the
right ones. Nope.  

The machine hadn't been used in some time, and was
brought out of retirement shortly after the death of my Electrolux. 
Hence, there was no bag in the beast to bring along for comparison.

Is there a database anywhere, or a list, that tells one  "Dust bag AA
fits the following vacuums:
--Schmoovers Super Sucker
--The Inhaler, ver.4.6
--etc...
etc.
