How does one find early 1900 football stats for the Polo Grounds in
New York City? Specifically, related to games played by Columbia
University.

I have found a list of every amateur football game played at the Polo
Grounds, including date, teams, score, and in many cases attendance.
It is not a Columbia University or official college football web page,
but it is so detailed that I believe it must be quite accurate. (It
lists not only results from Columbia intercollegiate games, but
obscure results such as Columbia sophomores versus Columbia Law
School!) Would this be a sufficient answer?

My Grandfather, Robert Chauncey Bishop, played for Columbia,
1904-1907(?)...He reportedly held the record for the longest punt in
the Polo Grounds - 96 yards...I would like to verify that record...Was
also known as "Chance"...Any info would be appreciated...Where might
old Polo Grounds history be archived?
Thanks...
