As you can read from these links, the major negative issue is the fact
that these people have to struggle to find acceptance, having two
social hurdles to overcome. If they're treated with respect because of
a certain heritage and ethnic background, that doens't mean that
they'll be accepted for their sexual orientation, and vice versa. Many
of these people find it hard to fight two battles instead of one each
time they meet new judgemental people. But this is also the positive
aspect, optimists seem this as a way to truly express themselves,
being lucky enough to have two distinguishing characteristics that
they can be proud of and celebrate. Hope I shed some light on the
