The web site for Arizona Highways magazine includes helpful indexes of subjects covered in back issues. "Arizona Highways: Magazine Reference List" Arizona Highways http://www.arizonahighways.com/GeneralInfo/magref.html The index of Places is particularly useful for your purposes. "Reference Index: Places Category" Arizona Highways http://www.arizonahighways.com/GeneralInfo/magrefPLACES.html There is nothing in that index for the term "Mojave", though perhaps you'll find places associated with the Mojave by browsing through the index. (I'm not too familiar with Mojave geography, so I'm not sure which place names to look for.) But there are three references under "Lakes" for Lake Mead. The article for June 1994 appears on pages 14-19, and I would be surprised if an article that long did not contain pictures. (I presume that the articles for the other two dates are shorter, so they might not be as useful, though you can check them just in case.) Here is a list of resellers of Arizona Highways back issues (which may or may not be available from the magazine itself). "Resellers of Arizona Highways Magazines" Arizona Highways http://www.arizonahighways.com/GeneralInfo/vendorlist.html You may be able to find back issues as well at a major Arizona library, such as the Phoenix Public Library, which is listed on the left side of the Places index. - justaskscott-ga Search strategy: Browsed Arizona Highways web site |

Well, check that out! I wonder why the customer service people didn't point me to that part of their site when I asked them 'Is there any other way this search could be accomplished?' Thanks! |

http://www.arizonahighways.com/Contact/custserv.html Their customer service contact info is there, if you wish to give them a call, they probably would be more than happy to tell you what you're looking for because it's business for them. skermit-ga |
