On each occasion rebooting ends with loading Symatec symevent files

Mallya,

Symatec symevent files are the files for the program that monitors the
computer's programs and communicates what it finds to other Symatec
programs (such as Norton Antivirus).

Try downloading and installing symantec's symevent update here:

ftp://ftp1.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/symevnt/sevinst.exe

That will update symevent for you. If that fixes the "problem," then
post a clairifcation. It might be that it hasn't installed correctly
and needs to be reinstalled so it doesn't keep trying to update. If
this does persist then it may be normal but it would be easier to
figure out what's wrong (if anything) with an exact "error" message.

Is the exact error message "loading symatec symevent files"?
