I need trended statistics on birthrates in the US by age, ethnicity
and region if possible. Data should include stats from 1990, 1995,
2000, projected 2005, 2010, 2020. Can anyone help?!

Hello,

For historical birth rates, the CDC-NCHS (Center for Disease Control -
National Center for Health Statistics) has published a report (linked
below) breaking down race and birth rates from 1940 to 2000. The
report was published February 12, 2002 and edited July 3, 2002 and I
could not find any more recent data. The many differnet tables at the
end of the report (click on "List of tables" at the table of contents
on the left slider in Adobe Acrobat) provide all the information that
you are looking for. I've singled out the tables that you should be
most concerned with reflecting on your question.

Table 1. Live births, birth rates, and fertility rates, by race:
United States, specified years 1940-55 and each year, 1960-2000

Table 4. Total fertility rates and birth rates by age of mother:
United States, 1970-2000, and by age and race of mother: United
States,
1980-2000

Table 11. Live births by race of mother: United States, each State and
territory, 2000

I tried looking for projected data, but the CDC-NCHS does not project
birth data, and Census.gov's website left me pointing back to the
CDC-NCHS website (see link below). The census website however did
project population levels by state to 2025, and by taking each state's
current year, and subtracting the previous, you can get a crude
estimate of projected births vs. deaths for that 5 year period. That
table is linked to below as well. Glad I could help answer your
questions.
