I am trying to find a site that sells prints or black and white photos
of the village where Chocolat was filmed. The name of the village is
Flavigny-sur-Ozerain in Burgandy. I have searched 100's of sites under
art prints and the movie name. Could you come up with a source for
this? I am trying to get a Xmas present for my sister-in-law that
went to this village recently. I do not want "movie" stills or posters
unless the picture is of the scenery, shops, village, without the
actors. Thanks.

Would photos that you can print from the Internet be sufficient?

Are you looking only for photos of the heart of the village, or do you
also want photos of scenes from the countryside?

Hi cathy5,
I think the best solution is to contact the local tourist office.
Would you like me to contact them to find out a source for buying the
images or would you prefer to contact them yourself? In this case I
will send you there address, phone and e-mail address.

Kind regards
romana-ga

My sister-in-law and her husband went here while in France. I would
like a nice photo, preferrably black and white or artist's print
showing the "street" with the chocolate shop from Chocolat or a nice
village scene or even a shot of the village from up on one of the
hills that are close to the village. What I am trying to do is obtain
a print that gives you the same look and feel of the scenes from the
movie that were shot in Flavigny-sur-Ozerain. I would even buy a
watercolor if it was not too abstract. I really do not want pictures
that can be printed off the computer. I want this to be a nice piece
that I can have matted and framed. Yes, I would contact the local
tourist office myself if you send me the address. I found one site
for tourism but it was of no help. Thanks for working on this for me.
I can't believe some enterprising French artist hasn't been turning
these out for American consumption!

Hi cathy5:

Ahhhhh, Flavigny. :-)

I spent the summer of 1987 living in this charming town with some
family friends who own a house there. Imagine my surprise when I saw
the movie Chocolat!

I don't know of any websites that sell prints of the town,
unfortunately...
