Dear Davli,

I found the following list of poems and spiritual lyrics. I have
organized them into the following categories:
Book citations
Poems and lyrics available on-line
Recordings

I began by searching the African American Poetry Database at:
http://dlib.stanford.edu:6520/text/afro-ampo.html

The African-American Poetry, 1760-1900 Bibliography site was also
helpful:

Once I compiled a list of authors from these sources I looked them up
individually.
