Applecore, You mention that you want to call a batchfile, but then you say you'd like an easyway for a novice to set their proxy server. By creating a text file and entering the following text: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings] "ProxyEnable"=dword:00000001 "ProxyServer"="172.16.0.1:3128" Save the file, and then rename it to a .reg file. Your user will simply be able to double-click the file to set their proxy server setting to whatever value you enter in the "proxyserver"= spot Check out that registry key, thats all you'll have to do -grilled |
