Being the strange person that I am, I'm looking for a 1920 (or 1940- I
can't quite read my notes) issue of Vogue. Iknow that it features
artist Frida (Frieda) Kahlo on the cover, but my main interest isin
some of the ads, sothe magazine would have to be intact. No luck on
ebay- I thought maybe one of you could find me a copy! because this
is fora school project, I have a price limit on the magazine, but even
if I don't buy it just findng it fr me would be great. thankyou!

I'm pretty sure its either 1920 or 1940, none of the years inbetween-
I just can't read my third digit! It's either a 2 or a 4. But you're
probably right- that means its 1940. And as to its price- yes, you're
probably right, but I know I can afford the 2.50 to find a copy. (:
Maybe I can pay the owner to scan me a picture of the ad I want and
email me a copy. I *think* that might work. Thank you for the
website- I'll check it out!

vintage Vogue magazines. I didnt find the one want on their site, but
maybe they can help you track one down (???)

Hi,

It also might help to know that the issue you seek is most likely from
the 1940s. Frida was 13 years old in 1920.

Since there has been a huge upsurge in interest in Frida Kahlo
recently, and a major movie about her (starring Salma Hayek) has just
been released, I would expect that the price on any Kahlo-related
merchandise may have gone up dramatically.
