Why is it that portable computing devices (such as cell phones with games, PDA's, and so forth) have been so much more successful/generated more interest in Oceania (Asia/Australia in particular) than North America? I recently heard about an Asian phone manufacturer that's putting a 3D accelerator in a cell phone. What is the sociological or cultural force that is creating this different level of success? |
