anybody know of a series that featured a chubby (slightly
overweight?), young and independent female detective?  the problem is
she may or may not have been a detective and she may or may not have
been asian or part asian.  i think she was very wealthy, possibly
orphaned and liked driving a sports car.

lead nowhere.  i think this woman sounds so peculiar im surprised im
having a hard time trying to figure this one out.  researchers, help
me!  :)

i know for a fact that there were several books on her, and that these
were books geared towards teens or children.  (young adults, heh...)
