dm12345,

If you can post a Request for Clarification listing all the URLs
(http:// addresses) of the sites where you have found your phone
number (be sure not to list any personally identifying information),
Researchers can tell you where and how to have this information
removed.

List websites in the form:
http://www.anywho.com

INSTEAD OF (because this contains personally-identifying information:
http://www.anywho.com/qry/wp_fap?lastname=Smith&firstname=John&street=&city=&state=DC&zip=&btnsubmit.x=46&btnsubmit.y=8

However, please be aware that most sites are not REQUIRED to remove
content unless they have a cease-and-desist order for either
demonstrable damage/injury (i.e., slander) or copyright-infringement.
However, many sites will be willing to remove personally-identifying
content when requested.

How can I remove all the personal infomation people are obtaining from
my phone number on the net. " my address, my name, where I work , my
girl friends name"

I am not aware of any online people-finding sites that would be likely
to give out information such as your girlfriend's name. Are you
talking about information that someone has posted on personal Web
pages, or in newsgroup posts?

It will help us if we have a very clear, specific idea of what sort of
information you're wanting to remove, and what its sources are.

dm12345,

Since we don't know where your information is listed, we cannot tell
you how to remove it.

If you list the pages/sites on the web where you have found your
personal information listed, we will tell you how to get it removed.

If someone has your phone number they can perform what's called a
reverce lookup. This tells them the name and address of the people in
the house ect.,"in my case" and with a little work a lot more than you
want anyone to know. Almost every one has caller I.D.once you call
them they have your number.I have since obtained a unlisted number but
all the information can still be obtained with my old number. How can
I get this information removed.
Their are many disturbed people out their that wouldn't think twice
about distroying your life for a few dollars it's how they make there
living. I didn't think it could happen to me but it did and it could
happen to you to.

dm12345,

I understand what you are asking.

But Google does not permit Customers, or Researchers, to post personal
information in Questions and Answers. And we can't find out where your
phone number is listed for you, without knowing your phone number. So
you will need to find out where it is listed, and tell us those sites.

Here are a few places to try. This is not an all-inclusive list. Try
looking yourself up on these sites, then come back and tell us on
which ones you are listed.

It is next to impossible to remove personal information from all
possible sources on the Internet. If you are being harrassed or
threatened, I suggest that you seek legal assistance and contact the
police.
