Since "top sites" is nebulous, how about ten or so of some of the top sites.

<I have listed the top internet sites where business or consumer
interest articles may be syndicated. Payments vary but are typically
50% of net profits.  Before submitting work it is a good idea to check
the Writers Weekly warning page at

This lists web sites that have failed to pay writers for work done and
is updated on a weekly basis. I have checked this week’s list and none
of the sites that I have given below are listed.>
