I can provide a source for the NYSE and the NASDAQ. Still looking for
the London Exchange.

When you say FTSE you do mean the FTSE 100 or do you mean for the
entire London Exchange?

The entire FTSE would be preferable, thank you.

One more clarification. The FTSE is an index calculation specialist,
not the London Exchange, though they are co-owners. Is there a
particular FTSE index (100, 350, All shares, etc) that you are looking
for? If you visit http://www.ftse.com, they have a list of the various
indices.

Jiggle..

For the NYSE and NASDAQ, as well as several other exchanges, you can
visit http://www.naq.com/online/symbolchoice.asp. From there, you can
choose the list you want and file format (Text, Excel or Word) and
download and save. I realize you asked for text, but I would
recommend Excel as the data is easier to read and manipulate. From
Excel, you can save in a text file for import into other applications

For the FTSE, go to http://webserver2.ftse.com/index-constituents/index.html.
From there, on the left had side, you will be able too choose from all
the FTSE indices. Don't let the word "sample" on some of the indices
mislead you. That simply means that the data in the file does not
update each day. For what you are looking for, the data is static, so
you will be able to use the files provided.

Thanks for your question and if there is any clarification you need,
please let me know.

Regards,
