Dear lips,
I have located documentation on a lawsuit involving Dr. Lester (whose
full name is, as I found out, Mark C. Lester). It is a document by the
the United States District Court for the Eastern District of
Pennsylvania, on a civil action lawsuit with Allen Neurosurgical
Associates, Inc. versus Lehigh Valley Health Network:
http://www.paed.uscourts.gov/documents/opinions/01D0049P.HTM
Dr. Lester is metioned several times in the document, like in these
examples:
"(...) 7) "co-opting" one of the ANA physicians, defendant Dr. Mark C.
Lester, to breach his fiduciary duties."
"Rather, plaintiff argues that the letter was fraudulent because a
"blind copy" was sent to defendant Dr. Lester, who was both a partner
at ANA and Divisional Chief of Neurological Surgery at one of the
Network's hospitals at the time."
"The conspirators [sic] false rumors that ANA physicians were no
longer on staff. At least two of ANA [sic] patients were treated by
Lester in his new capacity because those patients had been told that
their ANA physicians were no longer on staff, and interstate mail and
wire communications were generated as a result."
"Dr. Lester was a neurosurgeon, but the actions plaintiff complains of
were not taken in his capacity as a neurosurgeon. In fact, the
gravamen of plaintiff's complaint against Dr. Lester is that he
breached his fiduciary duty by acting in the best interests of the
Network instead of acting as an ANA neurosurgeon."
