This website lists the top 50 UK websites, with number of accesses. It
is dated for a week in May. This might be due to the time it takes
them to analyse the stats though:

http://www.top50.co.uk/list.htm

I've got an email out to them asking how often they update it.

Wisecat lists the top 100 for August 2001, although there are no stats
for number of hits:

http://www.wisecat.com/pages/best-uk.htm

Netvalue publish stats, but unfortunately only for the top 10. It
might be a good idea to email them and ask for a more complete list:

Website: http://uk.netvalue.com

Email: cathy.maher@netvalue.com

I hope this helps

sim: Your answer is very similar to the previous one here which was
removed because the figures on the sites were so out of date.

The top50 and wisecat links were both supplied by the previous answer,
but as you point out are out of date (the top50 one may be May 2001
for all we know)

As I mentioned in the question, I already have the top 10 sites, so
the netvalue link is of no use.

I used a similar process to find these links, and the fact I failed to
find satisfactory figures is why I ended up here. Please could you
improve or withdraw your answer.

Thanks,
Paul.

PS If Google had left the previous answer on, but marked it as
inadequate (or just converted it to a comment or something), you would
probably have not given the same answer. If anyone from Google
reviews these posting, perhaps they could consider the suggestion.

Sorry about that Paul.

Maybe you should have included details, regarding the previous
question, in this current question, to avoid the problem of a repeat
answer.

I've got a few emails out regarding the topic and would be grateful if
you'd wait until I get a reply.

I'll post my findings as soon as possible.

If that particular avenue proves to be a dead end, please request a
refund.

I'll get back to you in the near future.

Paul

Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you.

It appears that the only way to get the stats you require is by
parting with a considerable amount of money...

I've just received a quote from netvalue.com for the top 100 websites
with traffic figures. They quote £1500 (!)

I can give you the contact email if you're still interested.

If you're still not happy with this answer, please request a refund.

Best wishes

"the top50 one may be May 2001 for all we know"

Top50 hasn't even been updated since May 10, 2000 according to the
results from The Internet Archive's Wayback Machine.

http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.top50.co.uk/list.htm

As you can see, the archives version which has been saved and stored
since May 2000 is exactly the same as the current top50 site:

http://web.archive.org/web/20000510032144/http://www.top50.co.uk/list.htm

Top50 also only lists websites that have willingly participated in
giving them their access statistics.

It seems there are not many resources in this area, good luck finding
an answer.
