When using Outlook 2001 for Mac - How can I email a link to an item in a public folder. I have a discussion going on in a sub folder of a public folder. I want to email a link to that discussion to some other users. I think I know how to do that on the PC ver of Outlook, but I'm not sure how to do this on the mac. I want them to be get an email about new activity in a discussion, click on a link in the email, and be taken to that discussion to see what the latest activity is. I don't want to send a copy of an object, just a link to it. |

I was halfway through writing about how to attach an alias, but that really seems to be a bad idea. What you should do is type in a link of the form afp://<machine_ip>. |

I now realize that my answer is irrelevant. I did not catch that you were talking about public folders in the Outlook system. I'm sorry for spamming. |
