LOUIS ALEXANDER who left europe in 1880s to settle in AUSTRALIA--LOUIS
was the father of my grandfather CECIL ALEXANDER   I believe JACOB
ALEXANDER to be born btwn 1820 and 1840

The chances for finding information on your ancestor are, alas, very
bad. Bromberg in Silesia has been destroyed in early 1945, and most
archives burned to ashes. I just wanted to let you know this, to avoid
dissapointment.
