I've recently picked up a new second monitor for my win XP desktop, and I'm wondering if there is any way I can enable Cleartype on one monitor and not the other. My primary monitor is a 19" CRT and I use it for photoshop work and coding, and the second monitor is a 15" LCD flat panel that I'd like to use for reading email and documents. I really like the way cleartype looks on the LCD, but it looks horrible on the CRT. |

I'm afraid to say that there is no way to do this. Font smoothing must be system-wide: http://groups.google.co.uk/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&safe=off&threadm=u8uYrZR1BHA.2136%40tkmsftngp04&rnum=1&prev=/groups%3Fhl%3Den%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8%26safe%3Doff%26q%3Dcleartype%2Bmulti%2Bmonitor%26meta%3D%26sa%3DN%26tab%3Dwg |
