Ancestry.com. This service provides access to census, social security, birth and marriage records etc. for a fee ($9.95 19.95/month u.s. dollars depending on how much access you want). http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?gsfn=&gsln=van+veen<pop=1&gl=allgs&prox=1&yeart=a&ti=0&gss=anfp&sourceid=2524&submit.x=0&submit.y=0 Subscription plans: http://www.ancestry.com/subscribe/subscribeplanstx_v5m.asp?SourceId=4000&TargetId=3890 After looking over the various sites I think that Ancestry.com is the most comprehensive. However you might find the following of interest: Other genealogy sites: http://www.genhomepage.com/ http://www.myfamilyinc.com/ http://www.xs4all.nl/~vdvhisto/ http://www.slettemoen.com/slekt/vanveen/index3.htm#van%20Veen (Scroll down for Van Veen) Good luck, gitana |

Check your local library to see if they subscribe to Ancestry.com . My local library subscribes, and many parts of it are free to patrons with a valid library card. |
