How do you know that he has a middle name?  (Nothing I have seen
indicates that he has one, though of course that doesn't prove that he
doesn't.)  Did you hear somewhere that he has a middle name?

Could it be that you've mistaken the "E" in the plus/minus (+/-)
rating as an "E" for Lidstrom's middle initial?

I say this because, if you search for "lidstrom nicklas e" on
AllTheWeb, you get a few pages with "Lidstrom Nicklas" followed by the
"E" for the +/- rating:

Good research by aceresearcher.  Unfortunately, the actual page (or
the Google cache of it) does not appear to indicate a middle name:

I assume that the "en" refers to "English"; in other words, this is
the page for Nicklas Lidstrom in English (as opposed to Polish).
