Hi,

To answer your question I need to know what exactly you are looking
for. One dancer has to complete the other. In other words each dancer
must complement his/her partner perfectly. They must seem like ONE. A
fact that they are whole. Physical energies must also be perfectly
complemented. If one runs out on energy, the other must stand up to
take his/her place. As for mental energy, there must be a perfect
balance on the dance floor. The couple must be able to read each
other's mind wile performing. The steps must be perfectly
Synchronized.

All the points I have covered above holds true for a mixed doubles
team too.

Please let me know what exactly you are looking for. Do you want an
essay (a write up on the above topic) or are you looking for
established articles and papers on this.

regards,
Shiv Reddy

I would like to know if there are established papers that explain and
describe what goes on emotionally, mentally, and physically between a
compatable and successful pair of dancers and/or mixed doubles
players. I want to write an article that compares the mental,
emotional, and physical energies of mixed doubles players to those of
a pair of dancers. I read somewhere that Fred Astair compared dancing
with a partner to foreplay and wondered if playing mixed doubles could
also be compared the same way. If there are no articles that compare
the two "sports" in this way then I would like to read the articles
that describe these elements in dancers and in mixed doubles players

Hi,
Thank you for the clarification. I will look for reports that can
provide you with that information. If I am not able to provide you
with such a report, I will present to you details on the elements
which relate dancing and mixed doubles tennis.

Thank You.

Regards,
Shiv Reddy
