I want to write an analytical research report on a software topic. I
have been thinking in the direction of measuring software complexity.
I have looked at the different methods like Cyclomatic Complexity
(McCabe), Halstead Complexity, Lines of Code etc. I want to know which
methods are generally used out there. In which circumstances would one
be better than the other and why? Any code samples to play around
would certainly be appreciated. Also, are there any good books on this topic?
