Hi evangeorge,

Since 1938 there have been over 29,000 drug approvals by the FDA. The
FDA currently approves 300 – 1000 new drugs a year, many of them only
slight modifications over previous approvals. Also each year the FDA
withdraws a number of drugs from the market.

You can purchase a complete database of every drug approved by the FDA
since 1938 here –

ROSE – PRODUCTS – FDA DRUGS
http://www.rose-net.co.ir/products/PRODUCTS1/SP/fdadrugs.htm

You can see a list and read details about every drug approved by the
FDA since 1995 here (approximately 1000 entries) –

CENTERWATCH – FDA APPROVED DRUGS
http://www.centerwatch.com/patient/drugs/druglsal.html

You can look up any drug you wish in the FDA’s Orange Book or purchase
a hard copy of the Orange Book here (Unfortunately, there is no way
to browse the list online)

FDA ORANGE BOOK

When someone says no way, I feel changed. If the Orange Book has a
search engine, you can probably put in a single word such as was, up,
is, but, nor, out, FDA and get perhaps a thousand hits which you can
surf for hours, much like you can surf TV channels. Neil
