Hi again, 68chief,
Having spent the past little while researching this, I feel it's safe
to say the answer to your question is YES.
Although you didn't ask for names, I've found a list of schools which
I'm including below. Not all are primary, but I thought you might like
to see it in tact as I found it. I had to pull it from the site
source, since my browser was displaying an error on the page.
John Gray and George Hicks High Schools located on Walkers Road,
Georgetown. Call Education Dept. at 945-1199 for information.
In addition to these, there are several church-owned private schools:

About Cayman - Facts

This is an explanation of the report to which I'm about to direct you.
"What are country EFA reports? Since July 1998, some 180 countries
have participated in the most in-depth assessment of basic education
ever undertaken. Headed by a national EFA coordinator, national
assessment teams have prepared reports outlining the progress towards
education for all as well as pinpointing shortcomings towards that
goal since 1990 in their country.
The EFA 2000 Assessment was launched by the Education for All Forum
and has been coordinated by ten regional technical advisory groups
(R-Tags) in East Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, the Pacific, Southern
and Eastern Africa, Central and Western Africa, Latin America, the
Caribbean as well as Europe and Northern America."

And here's the URL for that Cayman report. It shows clearly that the
educational system is a serious business and that quality is monitored
and assessed carefully. You'll good information here, but no listing
of school names.
