I need to know the specifications for a Sansui Integrated DC Servo
Amplifier A-80. I need to know the watts per channel and hopefully why
people like this amplifier in particular.

I would have answered this question for you yesterday, but there is a
dearth of information on this and similar products on the internet.

The Sansui A-80 was 50 watts per channel RMS and perhaps 80 watts per
channel peak - a meaningless specification. The only one I found on
the net was used for $60. And honestly,there is nothing special about
this unit nor is it prized by vintage collectors. There are numerous
coveted pieces from this era, but receivers (aside from one Marantz
model) and integrated do not generally fall into this category.The
only possible feature would be large transformers for better power
supply and a smooth bottom end with some reserve. But I can see no
reason other than low cost to consider this, and if ever needed, parts
will be very hard to find.
