Question ID: 110932
These springs are 20 microns high and 1 micron wide between aluminium
plates used to form a capacitive sensor measuring loads applied. They
are made using moulds. They will be squeezed by approx 7 microns. The
resultant force applied will be used to produce a
stress strain curve for the spring.
What books or links or Journals will give me the mathematics/theory
related to the Spring-shape factor of these? i.e. influence of spring
shape factor on the effective
compression modulus of the springs

Im basically looking for the mathematics of these trapezoidal
elastomers. These springs are trapezoidal in shape and will be squeezed
by 20 microns. They are between aluminium plates used to form a
capacitive sensor measuring loads applied. They are made using
moulds. The resultant force applied will be used to produce a stress
strain curve for the spring. What books or links or Journals will give
me the mathematics/theory related to the Spring-shape factor of these?
i.e. influence of spring shape factor on the effective compression
modulus of the springs
