Neville... If you have heard the the Ozarks tale of "Bally Sally Cato" on tape, the chances are good that you heard as it was told by storyteller Lynn Rubright. Lynn, has been telling stories for over 30 years and there is an audio tape that I have found listed in several school libraries of her telling the tale. The tape seems to be a teaching tape that explains the art of story telling and tells the Tale of Bally Sally Cato. Here are some references to a tape: http://www.wiu.edu/library/units/av/catalog/c.htm http://pec.jun.alaska.edu:16080/aswc/pages/videolib.html Lynn can be contacted through her booking agent, Folktale Productions: 105 E. Drake Ave St Louis, MO 63119 314-968-2606 The booking agent's name is Jan Dolan. Jan should be able to get you in contact with Lynn or at least get in you in right direction to obtaining the tape you are looking for. You can also learn more about Lynn at http://www.folktale.com/Lynn.html Good luck! Thanks for your question and if you need any additional clarification, please let me know.
