I need some help locating basic healthcare coverage, essentially
coverage for severe problems or accident treatment. I'm willing to
take on a policy with $5,000 deductible. So far, I've been
unsuccessful. Here are the details: I am 22 years old, in very good
health, employed part time at a job with no healtcare benefits. I have
COBRA coverage through my parents but this will lapse in a few months.
I live in Massachusetts which has proven to be the primary problem in
finding adequate coverage. I haven't found any companies in
Massachusetts that offer this kind of coverage: Blue Cross has an HMO
that costs over $300 month and the coverage isn't that great. Ideally,
I would like a reference to a company of broker in the Boston area who
carries this coverage.
