Which RPM are you speaking of -- there are quite a few with different
options compiled in.

Also, is there something specific you are looking for, like which
databases are supported out of the box, or just a general question?

A good resource for information on RPMs is rpmfind.net, visit their
linux resources at http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/

The Red Hat version of Apache is compiled with a long string of
configure flags, as well as a series of patches. The exact recipe for
the compilation of any binary RPM package is contained in the
corresponding Source RPM (SRPM). To see the Apache recipe, download
and install ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/redhat-7.2-en/os/i386/SRPMS/apache-1.3.20-16.src.rpm
The configure options are defined in the spec file (apache.spec). You
can even modify it and recompile the package to suit your needs.

Hope this helps
