How do you email Yahoo for a support question? they have a huge Yahoo!Help section...yet no way to email anyone (at least that i can find). My Yahoo problem deals with my laptop: i can't click on any yahoo link that forwards through rd.yahoo.com. i ALWAYS get "this page cannot be displayed". i cleared my cache & changed the security settings on IE...yet no luck. |

Hi there boardman! What an irritating situation! The best thing to do in these circumstances is to report it to Yahoo as a problem with their software, which it may well be. To do this, visit the Bug Report page, and tell them what's going on. Hopefully they'll help you. http://docs.yahoo.com/info/support/contacts/bugs.html There's another really far out possibility, but I'll bounce it off you anyway. Let me know if it works: Are you running Kazaa? If not, then just report it as a standard bug to Yahoo. If you are, or have in the past, then try the following: 1) Click Start --> Search --> Files and Folders 2) Search your entire hard disk for a file called "hosts" (without the quotes) 3) For each file that you find (though hopefully you'll only find one) open it up with Notepad, and look for any lines with rd.yahoo.com in. 4) If you find any, delete them, save the file, and reboot your computer. It may just fix it. I hope that solves it for you, but at least you can talk to Yahoo now! If anything's unclear, feel free to request clarification before rating this answer. Thanks, and good luck. --seizer-ga Search strategy was a combination of personal knowledge, and searching for: Yahoo contact |

If it was neither of those it might be a firewall problem if you use a permissions based firewall that requests authorisation. Its possible the rd. etc address is a redirect route and you may have refused to give it permission to operate ? |
