Just to let you know, this question is being researched but the
information may be rather dificult to find. There are a few sites
about disposal procedures but we may need more information to go on.

A possible site to invesigate is http://www.ehs.wsu.edu/ccr/ccr.asp
This covers disposal and reycling of a variety of chemicals.

I agree more information would be helpful. Do you expect to recover
one ton per day? Is the waste in a near concentrated water solution or
less than 1%. Is the principle contaminate sodium dichromite? Will you
resuse the purified sodium dichromate in water solution or does it
need to be recrystalized. Which contaminates are ok and which need to
be removed to how many parts per million. What will you use the
recycled sodium dichromate for? Neil
