Just to avoid any confusion (as I am particularly unfamiliar with this
term):
What do you mean by "analysts"? Do you mean the analysts used in the
game design and development process? Or do you mean the reviewers
(those who analyse) the games? Or maybe something total different
that I missed!?

Thanks very much,

Good question!

When I say analysts, I mean people from the financial world (often at
investment banking firms) who analyze the state of the video game
industry. They research various trends/companies in the video game
industry to provide information to investors. Often, they are quoted
in articles about the state of the video game industry and/or about
how certain video gaming companies are doing. Does that help?

Sew122 --

A friend runs a video game company here in Seattle and tells me that
the total number of financial analysts following the industry probably
doesn't exceed two dozen. Having done searches such as this before, I
also have to warn you that U.S. analysts are the easiest to find;
European analysts not too difficult; but language problems will make
Japanese and other Far Eastern searches difficult.

Best regards,
