Tisme,
On Dec.5 I posted a question. It's subject was "Credit for
sucessful answers". In that question, I wanted to credit you for
answering a question on Ali Woodson. However, for the last 10 days, on
my screen, that question is lit up in bold face, requiring me to
clarify a question. I cannot clarify anything to that question due to
there is no "link" or button to click onto. So the screens just
remains lit up as if I haven't addressed something that needs to be
addressed. So I am asking you to go to that question and ask for
clarification on something, and be sure to leave a link for me to
respond with. Is there anything that is not clear about what I'm
trying to say? bluestreak

Hello bluestreak,

Is this the question you are talking about? :

There really is nothing much to worry about here, basically sparky4ca
posted a Request for Clarification that didn't really require a
response from you.

It has expired at this point and I am unable to post anything. I
recommend that you email mailto:answers-editors@google.com with a link
to the question and they should be able to help you.

Dear Tisme,
Thank you so much! I accept your answer and close this
question. I'd like to tip you 4.00. I'd tip much better, but I'm an
adult care giver(make little money, & have lots of requests to
hopefully reward). Would you take a look at my other searches? Thank
you so, so much. Sincerely, Bluestreak

I found his year and place of birth. Would that suffice?

No, that wouldn't help me. I already have him as listed as born in
1914 in Fort Worth,TX. I need his actual birthdate.

Tisme,
OK. Thank you for responding quickly. It's just irritating
to have my screen tell me that something requires my attention, when I
can't respond. Everything is fine. That link you provided, I've used
it many times. They have never even once responded to my many emails.
Frankly, I don't think there is anyone behind the wheel there. We're
flying on auto-pilot as far as I can tell. bluestreak

Hi bluestreak.
I can't advise you specifically as I haven't played the role of
"asker" yet. But I can say that for the researchers, when there is a
question highlited in bold because the answer needs clarification,
clicking on the question itself brings up the question, and there is a
button on the page for "clarify answer". I would assume that somewhere
in the question itself:
https://answers.google.com/answers/main?cmd=threadview&id=117725
you should see a "clarify question" button. If you do, go ahead and
clarify by clicking, and then typing something in the box. Doesn't
matter what. that will simply clear out the needs clarification flag.

Hopefully soon Google Answers will have a better way of communication.
Since we all have IDs here at google answers, ending in -ga, maybe
thay could setup an internal email system, basically just webmail, for
us al lto use. Sure owuld save some time.

Hi sparky4ca,
Thank you for your imput. My request for clarification
remains lit up in bold, for the question, Credit for sucessful answer,
with no button for me to respond with. I guess it alright though,
since the question is expired. It justs annoys me that the questions
remains in bold on my screen. I now have 4 pages of questions. Did you
see my last question for you? bluestreak
