The german Frankfurt stock exchange features opening and closing
auctions where the opening/closing price is set. It is possible to
place an order to take place in the specific auction.

(see http://deutsche-boerse.com/INTERNET/EXCHANGE/zpd.nsf/Web+Publikationen/HAMN-52FCAJ/$FILE/fwb04-2000-10-02e.pdf?OpenElement
on page 2 for a description of possible options for executing a trade
(for closing auction only) )

Question:
Which other stock exchanges have the same or a similar system?
(worldwide international)

Hi! I am very interested in answering this question. I just need to
clarify something. Do you need any exchange which have opening and/or
closing auctions? Or there must be another criteria involved? Just let
me know. :)

I'm interested in an overview over all of the exchanges that implement
this.

another criteria might be, if it is possible to trade in that auction,
but I'm not sure that this can be answered...

Hi! Thanks for the question.

The following are overviews of other stock exchanges I found which
have features of the nature of opening and closing auctions. Some of
the pages also provide if you can trade in this phase although in most
you cannot do such action.

Some documents are in PDF file so you will need the Adobe Acrobat
Reader to read them. In case you haven’t installed it yet here is a
link so you could download The Adobe Acrobat Reader
