if you are looking for the information of just one specific machine,
perhaps it would help to list the machine type, model, and or serial
numbers, since you seem to imply that you have this information.

or... are you looking for a way to find out what configuration was
used given an arbitrary set of data i.e. a way to find the
configuration given any set of machine type, model and serial numbers?

Hello, rootsman-ga.

I have found a source of such information which contains the specs for
many IBM machines. If you have a specific machine in mind, please
post the machine type number and model number, and I will check to see
if it is listed in my source.

Thanks!
