Hello bluestreak

No birth or death dates to be found but a couple of leads.

It seems clear that Mozzati was Italian, and unlikely that he is still
living.
The first mention I found of him is 1941, when he was written up in
the journal of a society for the blind. It looks as if he was chosen
to be an example of a blind person with a successful or interesting
life.
Later, he taught at the music conservatory in Milan. Many, many
students put their studies with him in their online resumes, with
several mentioning that he was an excellent teacher as well as
pianist.
1980 is the last year with reference to his activities, when he sat on
a jury at a music competition. He had chaired the jury in 1972.
By the late eighties his name was attached to an annual (I think)
competition/prize.
There is a piano school in Mezzano in Lombardy named after him.

In case you want to ask the Milan conservatory or the school at
Mezzano for information, here are the addresses:

Thank you leli!
I'm very grateful that you've taken a look at one of my
older, neglected questions. I will try to use your leads to get an
answer, and if anything comes of my efforts, you will receive credit,
I assure you. I have several more similar questions, such as Von Der
Goltz(violinist), Hjort-Goltz(pianist), Polacek(cellist), Alfredo
Nobile(opera singer), etc. I also have questions on lots of dancers,
dance teachers, etc. I'd very much appreciate the chance to work with
you,leli! bluestreak
